How did I become a seamstress?..
I started the journey to owning and running a successful business as a senior in Highschool when I entered a 4-H competition and took it all the way to state to bring home a win. It was obvious that I needed to continue down the road of apparel and sewing so I did, by moving to the UofA Fayetteville and obtaining a 4 year bachlor degree in Human Enviromental Sciences with an emphasis in Apparel Studies. It was also during this time that I had a job as CSR for David's Bridal in the alterations department. This is where I began to learn a skill that I now use every single day. There was also a lovely lady there who had been sewing for over 50 years, whom I was fortunate enough to intern for. Now, it is through experiences of life and the decisions we all make that we end up where we are, and I am happy to say that all of this has brought me to a place in life where I get to do what I love for so many people within our community here in NWA.
